With a culinary focus on China’s lesser known regions – including Yunnan, chilli-loving Jiangxi, Hunan and Sichuan, with their citrus-hued warmth, Guangxi and Xingjiang – Spice Temple’s a la carte menu is designed to be shared and enjoyed banquet style.

Our concise wine list of exactly 100 wines, has been designed to complement the regional Chinese flavours we celebrate in our menu. Alongside this we have a cocktail list featuring superbly crafted drinks based around the Chinese zodiac.

Spice Temple is one of Australia’s most celebrated modern Chinese restaurants. Located in the Crown Complex, on the edge of the Yarra River, the intimate and seductive setting that is ideal private dining.

Whether you are looking to celebrate discreetly in our private dining room, or you’re looking to host a function for 70 that still capitalises on the mood of our restaurant, our private dining options can be catered for your needs. With our diverse function menus there is chilli for chilli lovers, or subtle flavours for guests wanting a more mild experience.
